This is a 3d reconstruction of an adult female Mantis Shrimp (Squilla empusa) created by myself with assistance from Josh Medina.

The model was created in collaboration with Dr. Kate Feller from Union College and the Digital Life project at Umass Amherst . The model was developed from a 3D photogrammetry scan of a preserved specimen, as well as images and measurements from live animals.
