Skye is a Manta Ray that was spotted off the coast of Palm beach, Florida who became the subject of a research project at Digital Life 3d to recreate an accurate virtual model of a living Manta Ray. These images represent the results of our research.

I created the model in Blender using about 50 images and videos of Skye and animated the model based on reference videos of Skye and other Florida manta rays swimming.
